Students developed an AI-assisted collaborative note-taking tool that seamlessly integrates tools from multiple vendors (Outloook, Salesforce). The product, “Orb”, aim to streamline workflow by automatically collecting and summarizing relevant data for meeting preparation and then syncing back updated data post-meeting.
This product was developed with the goal of assisting wealth advisors (WA) at Neuberger Berman. The goal is to vastly reduce hours WAs spend on prep before client meetings. This use case is not limited to wealth advisors or finance firms, and thus has a much wider potential for applications.
Because the product has potential commercial promise, I am not posting files here.

Summary: Students analyze the lending behaviors of Bank of the West (BOW) in Arizona and California using the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) loan-level data and Census tract demographic information for 2021. The analysis aims to help BMO Harris (which recently acquired Bank of the West) understand if BOW’s lending falls short of BMO Harris’s goal to serve underserved communities and steps BMO Harris can take to address any shortcomings.
Methods: Spatial analysis, regression models, and an experiment with OpenAI’s ChatGPT API to assess the impact of demographic information on loan decisions.
